My mother is undergoing chemotherapy, and her white blood cell count is often low. Visiting her is always nerve-wracking because I worry about bringing in germs from the outside world. I bought one of these for myself to wear before and during visits. It gives me peace of mind that I'm not breathing potential pathogens near her. The ionic breeze setting is a nice bonus.
